BIIIIIGGGGG shout-out to Bobbie Dixon this morning for passing her driving test with ZERO driving faults!
Absolutely smashed it! 🎉🚗

Bobbie started lessons with me back in October as a complete novice. Learning to drive wasn’t always easy for her. For starters, she lives 20 miles away from where we did our lessons, so just getting here was a challenge in itself! On top of that, she had a real battle with her lefts and rights, which made following directions and sat nav instructions a bit of an adventure at times—especially on those pesky roundabouts!
But we worked on it, found a few tricks to help, and today she’s completely knocked it out of the park with a faultless drive.
Test passed. Job done. 👏

If we’re being honest though, this result probably should have happened last week… except Bobbie only went and lost her provisional licence on the morning of her test! 🤦‍♂️😂 In true sitcom fashion, it magically reappeared about 20 minutes after her test was due to start. You genuinely couldn’t make it up!
A special shout-out to her college teacher for finding it and returning it—slightly later than ideal, but still a hero in the story! As they say, good things come to those who wait… and today’s result proves it.

Massive congratulations again, Bobbie. I’m proper chuffed for you and all the freedom this is about to bring. You’ve worked incredibly hard for it and thoroughly deserve it.
Drive safe, enjoy every minute of it, and maybe keep that pink licence somewhere you’ll definitely remember! 😉🚗

🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 2nd pass of the day! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

This time, it’s a huge shout-out to Andy Dowsland for passing his driving test this afternoon at the very first attempt, with just 1 driver fault! 🚗💨

Andy might be a little late to the driving licence party, but as they say, better late than never!

Having never sat in the driver's seat in his 40 years on this planet, Andy came to me a few months ago determined to get that licence in the bag. His very first lesson was in darkness, rain, and THICK fog... because apparently we skipped the "easy mode" tutorial! Even so, he still managed to drive himself home.

When I mentioned how good he was at retaining information, Andy replied that he "hates getting things wrong more than once." That was music to my ears! From that moment on, he threw himself into every lesson, improved week after week, and today got exactly the result he deserved.

A first-time pass, 1 driver fault, and a full licence in the pocket. Not bad for a bloke who started from absolute scratch a few months ago! 👏🏻👏🏻

Well done, Andy. Stay safe on the roads, mate, enjoy the celebrations tonight, and I'm sure I'll see you out there sometime soon.

Now it's time to enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend! 🍻☀️

A HUGE congratulations to Maddie Judd for passing her driving test this morning with just 2 driver faults! 🚗🎉

Where do I even start with this one...

Back in March 2025, when I started as a trainee driving instructor, Maddie was my very first enquiry, my very first client, and the very first person I ever taught professionally.

While I may have taught Maddie how to drive, she taught me something too. For some people, driving comes naturally... and for others, it arrives after a few extra lessons, a lot of determination, and the occasional "Are you sure I can do this?" conversation 😂. Maddie definitely won't mind me saying she was in the second category!

There were times when she probably felt like throwing in the towel, but she never gave up. She put the work in, kept turning up, listened to every bit of advice, and practised until she had it nailed.

Always up for a good gossip, always had a story to tell, and somehow managed to remember every instruction 😂

Thank you for putting your trust in me from day one. Watching you grow in confidence behind the wheel has been mega, and this pass is thoroughly deserved and was defo worth the 5am wake up call for the the 7:03am test slot 🫣😂

Enjoy your freedom, stay safe, and I'll look forward to seeing you out on the road soon.

HUGE shoutout to Sonny Mason for passing his driving test this morning on his very first attempt! 🚗✅🙌🏻

On a bright and Sonny day in Scarbados, you can always expect one thing… busy tourist traffic! Sonny didn’t let that phase him, though. He showed the examiner he has the skills and know-how to navigate busy roads safely and now he’s got the pink licence to prove it!

Sonny has been a pleasure to teach. A man of few words, but with an incredible ability to soak up information like a sponge. Starting with me as a complete novice, and with just 24 hours of lessons (plus a little private practice in his own car), he’s achieved the result he deserves.

Congrats again Sonny, stay safe on them roads pal! 🚗👏

Massive congratulations to this magnificent lady for passing her driving test this fine Saturday morning with just 3 driving faults!

Michelle came over to the UK from South Africa 🇿🇦 a little under 2 years ago. She’s been driving for over 35 years but for her to carry on driving in the UK she needed that vital pink bit of plastic to say she’s safe to do so!

It’s fair to say that after 35 years of driving in her homeland, where in her own words “speed limits are just suggestions” there was a fair few bad habits that we had to unpick.
BUT, she did it and now she’s a safe and fully licensed UK driver.

Well done Michelle, thoroughly deserved and I’ll be sure to put the fly swatter you gave me, to stop you leaving your hand on the gear stick, to good use with other pupils in the future (with permision obvs)

Huge congratulations to Brooke Jennings for passing her driving test on her very first attempt this morning!

Brooke has been an absolute delight to teach. When I asked her in her first lesson if she had any previous driving experience, she replied, “I started my mum’s car once and it didn’t go well, so I had a paddy.” At that point, I thought we might potentially have a diva on our hands…

But how wrong was I!!!

She took to driving so well, absorbed every bit of information I gave her, and now she has the certificate and licence to prove it!

Well done again, Brooke — enjoy your freedom… and enjoy giving your mum free taxis whenever she requires them! 😂🚗
