🔸 Mercedes CLS in for an oil leak & maintenance

This CLS first came to us earlier this year with an oil leak. After some investigation, we found the oil filter housing and surrounding seals were leaking, so we replaced the oil filter housing and fitted genuine Mercedes seals.

Today, it was back in for some general maintenance. We carried out an oil service, replaced the rear discs and pads, and also completed a full gearbox service using a genuine Mercedes gearbox service kit and oil.

🔸 Land Rover Discovery Sport in for a timing chain replacement ⛓️

This Discovery came to us with a rattling timing chain and the engine management light on. After inspecting it, we found the timing chain had become slack and needed replacing.

A new genuine timing chain kit was fitted, the engine timing was reset, and it’s now running smoothly again. Another happy customer safely back on the road. 🙌🏻

🔶 BMW 4 Series in for a coolant leak

This 4 Series came in with a coolant leak. Our diagnostic quickly traced the issue back to the AdBlue injector cooling system.

🛠️Coolant pipes replaced, and the system refilled with fresh coolant and tested.

Leak fully resolved and the cooling system now working as it should. If you’ve noticed coolant loss or warning lights, get in touch before it turns into a bigger issue.

🔶 Mercedes GLC in for squeaky brakes

This GLC came in with noisy brakes that were becoming hard to ignore.

🛠️ Front discs and pads replaced, rear pads replaced, and the offside front lower suspension arm renewed.

Brakes now quiet again and the car driving smoothly as it should. If your brakes are squeaking or feeling off, get in touch and we’ll take a look.

🔶 Citroën C3 Aircross in for an oil pressure warning

This C3 Aircross came in with the oil pressure light on. Our diagnostic quickly revealed the cause: a failing wet timing belt breaking down and blocking the pick-up and filters. Unfortunately this is quite common on this engine.

🛠️ Wet belt replaced, new sump fitted, all filters cleaned thoroughly, fresh oil and filter installed, and the engine now has proper oil pressure again. Running safely and smoothly like it should.

🔶 Volvo S90 in for a nasty noise when starting and reversing

This S90 came in after the owner was told by another garage that the noise was caused by a gearbox issue. After carrying out our own diagnostic using an electronic stethoscope, we traced the problem to a faulty starter motor.

🛠️ Starter motor replaced and the issue completely resolved. That horrible grinding noise is gone for good, and the car’s back to starting smoothly every time. 💪🏼

🔶 VW Tiguan in for a carbon clean

This Tiguan came in for some preventative maintenance; a valve and intake manifold clean to remove built-up carbon deposits and keep things running smoothly.

🛠️ Intake manifold removed, valves and manifold thoroughly cleaned, then reinstalled and tested. Running spot on and ready for many more miles ahead! 💪🏼
