Warning light on? Don’t ignore it.

If your tyre pressure warning light appears, it could mean one or more of your tyres is underinflated, has picked up a puncture, or there’s another issue affecting the pressure.

Driving with incorrect tyre pressures can affect:
✅ Handling and braking
✅ Tyre wear
✅ Fuel efficiency
✅ Overall safety

If the light comes on, get your tyres checked rather than just resetting the warning and carrying on.

Autumn vs Your Battery

As temperatures start to drop, your car battery has to work harder. If it’s already getting older or losing performance, the colder months can quickly expose the problem.

Keep an eye out for:
🔋 Slower starting than usual
💡 Lights looking dim
⚠️ Electrical issues
🚗 A battery that’s several years old

Don’t wait until the morning your car won’t start. If you’re concerned about your battery, pop into your local Boro Tyres Autocentre and let us take a look.

Tyre pressure. Does it really matter?

Absolutely. Having the correct tyre pressure plays an important part in how your car drives, stops and uses fuel.

Tyres that are under or overinflated can lead to uneven wear, reduced grip and potentially shorten the life of your tyres.
Not sure when you last checked yours?

Pop into your local Boro Tyres Autocentre and we’ll check them for you.

When did you last properly check your tyres?

It’s easy to forget about them until something feels wrong, but a quick tyre check can help spot problems before they become bigger ones.

We’ll look at things like tread depth, tyre pressures, uneven wear, cracking, bulges and any visible damage.

If you’re not sure what condition yours are in, let us take a look. A quick check could give you some valuable peace of mind.
