These days people own cars from manufacturers I’ve never heard of let alone worked on.
Where possible glue pull repair eliminates the need to strip the vehicle to find access to push damage from behind.
Using specialist glue pulling equipment the damage can be pulled out and knocked about with hammers as close to the original form as possible.

Classic VW Beetle roof Save
No glue pulling on this badly damaged roof due to the age of the paint and patina it was all about maintaining originality.
My biggest obstacle was creating leverage, find out how solved the problem with a cheap plastic trim tool and Tesa tape.

A rare colour saved from filler and most likely mismatched paint !

I thought there might be some movement early in this repair but the complexity of the concave and convex body line of the door meeting the wheel arch kept the damage locked in making it extremely difficult to unlock.

Using with methodical pulls slowly released tension in the steel allowing me to knock back the high spots, repeating the process until finer detail was picked out with pushing tools.
