Celebrating 12 Years of Innovation: The British Hovercraft Company Marks Global Expansion Milestone

Today marks the 12th anniversary of The British Hovercraft Company (BHC). Since our incorporation in 2014, we have grown from a local manufacturer into a global leader, now exporting to 52 countries worldwide.

To support our rapid growth, operations are now structured across three specialized divisions covering all aspects of hovercraft activity:

BHC: Our core manufacturing hub, driving production and design excellence.
BHS: Dedicated to managing and supporting our commercial hire clients.
BHE: The experiential arm keeping the BHC brand alive at major events nationwide.
Our global footprint continues to expand with 10 international distributors now marketing and selling the BHC range. We are also gearing up for the highly anticipated release of the Hov-Pod BHX in the coming months.

Demand spans the globe across both sectors:

2026 Commercial Orders: Actively fulfilling contracts for Iraq, Canada, Tunisia, the Netherlands, and South Africa.
2026 Recreational Craft: Supplying premium craft to Dubai, New Zealand, France, the USA, and Canada.
We want to take this opportunity to thank every single one of our clients, distributors, and supporters—both old and new. This remarkable journey would not have been possible without your continued trust and support. Here is to the next chapter!

Hovercraft surveying in the Emerald Isle.

For the last week, a part of the BHC group has been conducting environmental surveys on seagrass growth.
These invaluable surveys provide a huge insight into marine life and how we can help protect it for the future.
Two of our pilots have been enjoying the spectacular views of the beautiful loughs that island have to offer.

On 19th June BHC had the pleasure of mudlarking with the great guys from “All The Gear”

Check out their channel on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/
Along with Si-finds Thames Mudlark https://www.youtube.com/, Ethan, and Jake we had a fun time trying to get some luck in the muck

The guys even found some dog tags belonging to a sailor born in 1895!
Maybe you could help trace his ancestors, so we could return them to his family.

Enjoy the video…
