🌧️ Ooh, I'm rather glad we're tucked up under cover today... I think Storm Austen may have arrived! 😂☔️ It's very wet and a tad windy out there... not that I've actually ventured outside to confirm this! 🤭
Hope you're all battened down, warm and safe from whatever the weather is throwing at us!
Morning all, on this rather soggy 'It's a bit wet Friday'!
Normally Friday is BAKING DAY, but as we're not opening tomorrow, I may actually have a day off! 😱
Although, knowing me, I'll probably manage to find approximately 47 things that need doing. I do have a gift for creating work for myself! 😂
Yesterday I managed to have a relatively trouble-free day... although, if I'm honest, I'm struggling to remember what I actually did! 🤔🤣
Oh yes! I spent some quality time sweeping the leaves off Norah. A completely pointless exercise, obviously, given that it's autumn, it's windy and we're moored underneath a BLOOMING WILLOW TREE! 🫣🍂
Still, it kept me out of mischief for five minutes!
Today's mission (should I choose to accept it):
I MUST remember to bring the paint home from Norah so Lloyd can get started on the painting. He actually asked me yesterday and, of course, I forgot! 🙄
BUT... in my defence, he rang while I was out and about, and I didn't write it down.
So technically, not my fault! 😂😂
It's now officially on the list, so hopefully that means it'll happen... although we all know what my lists are like! 🤦♀️
Right, enough waffle about me... let's get to the REALLY important stuff!
🟩 Wordle: Phew! Got it in 5. Far too many possibilities!😅
☕ Tea: 3 cups so far. Another one may be required before I can be considered fully operational.
👗 Dressed: Not yet... lounge pants are far more comfy..
🚶♀️ Walk: Not on your Nelly! I'm not daft enough to voluntarily get wet when I can stay indoors! 🤣
So, what are you lovely lot up to on this wet and windy Friday?
Are you being productive, having a lazy day, or just watching the rain and pretending you can't see all the jobs that need doing? 😂
Whatever you're up to, stay warm, stay dry and have a lovely day!
