One of the best jobs I ever got as a crew commander, BATUS temp staff Vehicle Tp. Shame that young lads will never get to experience this ever again 😭😭😭.

Growing up in the BAOR was the best childhood ever....... (If you like this sort of thing 😂😂) Seeing low flying aircraft of all types . The German airforce F4 phantoms flying so low I could see the pilots from the balcony of the quarter. .

HONOUR THE CHARGE THEY MADE, HONOUR THE LIGHT BRIGADE, NOBLE 600..... The Light Dragoons battle of Balaklava and the charge of the light brigade . Oct 25th 1854.

Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
“Forward, the Light Brigade!
Charge for the guns!” he said.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.

II
“Forward, the Light Brigade!”
Was there a man dismayed?
Not though the soldier knew
Someone had blundered.
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.

III
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volleyed and thundered;
Stormed at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of hell
Rode the six hundred.

IV
Flashed all their sabres bare,
Flashed as they turned in air
Sabring the gunners there,
Charging an army, while
All the world wondered.
Plunged in the battery-smoke
Right through the line they broke;
Cossack and Russian
Reeled from the sabre stroke
Shattered and sundered.
Then they rode back, but not
Not the six hundred.

V
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon behind them
Volleyed and thundered;
Stormed at with shot and shell,
While horse and hero fell.
They that had fought so well
Came through the jaws of Death,
Back from the mouth of hell,
All that was left of them,
Left of six hundred.

VI
When can their glory fade?
O the wild charge they made!
All the world wondered.
Honour the charge they made!
Honour the Light Brigade,
Noble six hundred!

RIP Viper , I wanted to be a jet fighter pilot when I was a kid , then I found out what a BARB test was and that put an end to that pipe dream, but the Royal Armoured Corps were happy to accept me 😂😂😂.

This is the ending of the film many of you have seen in the clips we have put up. I first saw this just before I joined the army. Such an outstanding film that shows the start of the war that many of us have never seen before. I just wish they would make one about Lt mills the day after in south Georgia.

36 years ago today, the last parade of the NVA of the DDR. I couldn't possibly imagine just waking up and my country and job just not being there . Our victory most definitely cost them , and we're still seeing that cost every day in the news in eastern Europe. Freedom has a price .

I believe this truly depicts the battle of Foxtrot crossing with the OPFOR this week, against the evil imperialest forces of the The Royal Dragoon Guards on this exe😂😂😂.
