67 plate SEAT IBIZA FR today.

Customer wanted Drivers shocker replacing as I done the passenger side a few months ago. Customer complained there was a knocking noise coming from drivers front side. This has had new springs put on the car from a garage (not naming who) and the ball joint nut wasn’t genuine or tightened down correctly causing an awful knock when going over bumps, really bad play when turning the wheel left to right by hand and in the steering.

Got a new ball joint same day as customer didn’t want to run the risk of the old one being damaged. Fitted the new ball joint whilst also carrying out the repair for a replacement shocker.
I have advised this customer to get new track rod ends as the boots on them have split.🔧✅

Seat belt sign would be on dash when driving, as shown the wiring into the seat buckle had come away causing a loss of signal when someone is sat in the drivers and passenger front seat. Ordered 2 second hand buckles for this job going off the part number wrote on the old parts. Job well done quick and easy.🔧✅

Passenger side was wearing down faster then drivers side which is not good. Discs were heavily lipped as well, good as new now🔧✅

2016 1.5Litre Ford Fiesta Zetec S
Driver and passenger side bottom arms replaced as ball joints were worn and bushes were wearing. Drop links on both sides have also been replaced due to having “play” in them. Drivers pinch bolt was seized so bad that this job resulted in me to take the wheel hub off with the arm and work the bolt out. New arms and links fitted and driving quieter then ever.

Finished this job off with light service.
Oil- 0W-30 and 3.85Litres
