Along with a lot of other garages at this time of the year, our Mot Test slots are beginning to get booked up very quickly. We strongly recommend if you have a test due in the near future to book well in advance to ensure you don't miss out. Demand for tests at this time of the year is rising again as it has done for the last 2 years, so pre-plan and get your Mot Test booked early.

Here at Leaders Engineering we'd like to let all of our customers old and new, know that we are OPEN as normal throughout this lockdown period.
We are open for all your servicing, repair and diagnostic needs, as well as Mot tests.
We would ask that anyone who requires an Mot test on their vehicle to plan ahead as we are still experiencing high demand, and we would recommend booking a minimum of 2 weeks in advance.

Good morning motorists!
Due to the current Covid-19 situation, with many customers being issued extensions to their current Mot Test expiry dates, we are experiencing very high demand for Mot Tests. We would like to urge our customers to consider booking their Mot Tests at least 3 weeks in advance to try and avoid any disappointment resulting from the unavailability of Test appointments.

Here at Leaders Engineering we've been busy making a few changes👨‍🔧
Our regular customers will notice that our Service Reception has moved to allow for more distancing, don't worry its not far, just to our Mot workshop at the other end of the road.
We're still open for all your servicing needs, repairs and Mot tests.
We would like to remind customers that we would still only like one customer in reception at once, and for the time being to pay by card only.
We look forward to seeing our customers old and new.

Here at Leaders Engineering, we're still working hard to fix our customers cars despite all the recent changes to our "normal" way of life.

We are open for all our customers to be able to maintain and service their vehicles, for Mot tests and repairs and emergencies. We are currently operating at a reduced staffing level, but if your vehicle needs attention we'll do our very best to keep you on the road, but please appreciate we are still experiencing delays on some parts orders.

We would also like to ask our customers to please abide by social distancing guidelines, by ensuring that only 1 customer is in the reception area at any one time, and to pay by card only for the time being.

Unsure of when your MOT and TAX is due? Alternatively to calling your local garage, you can just visit the GOV.UK site with your Registration at the ready, select "Check the MOT status of a vehicle" and it will show you both TAX and MOT due dates.

It's getting towards that time of year again!

Winter will soon be arriving, the leaves are falling, and before too long we'll be in hats and scarves, scrapping the ice off the car.

But what about the engine? Have you checked your Anti-Freeze as of late? If your engine is low on Anti-Freeze your cooling system could freeze causing parts of the engine to crack!

Did you know, that If you've managed to misplace your Mot test certificate, you can now get a replacement for free. This service works for certificates issued after 20th May 2018, and you'll need your vehicle reg number and the reference number from your log book.

Don’t worry, you’re not the only one. Around 600,000 people a year ask for a new copy of their vehicle’s MOT certificate, which can cost up to £10 for a replacement.

Today we’ve launched a new service that lets you print or download a free replacement MOT certificate. 🎉
