We are, like the rest of the nation, deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We stand in solidarity with everyone in St Helens in sending our condolences to the Royal family and the country.

Good evening St Helens! Bit of a late post, but we at just wanted to let you know that we are so proud of each and every one of our pupils. Learning to drive can sometimes be a little nerve wracking and stressful at times - but we here at Sutton are here to make the start of your driving life a fun, informative and understanding process. We value each and every one of our past, present and future pupils (since we started in the 1960's - we have had so many to be proud of!). Good night and be careful out there :)

We here at Sutton School of Motoring were very deeply saddened and shocked by the news unfolding today regarding the incident in Manchester.

As a company that educates a lot of young people, this feels very close to us indeed.

We would like to extend our heartfelt hopes, love and prayers to all those effected by last nights events.

We strongly believe in (and teach) that drivers should always be aware of their speed at all times. Abiding by speed limits isn't just the law, it is you being mindful of the safery of other road users and vulnerable pedestrians.

We therefore encourage cars to slow down and follow the speed limit on Prescot Road (and everywhere else). The tragic loss of precious little Violet Youens highlights why we need to consider speed along our highways - something her killer clearly didn't even consider when he got behind the wheel of that stolen car.

As always - sending our love and thoughts to the family of that gorgeous little angel, Violet.

A beautiful 4 year old little girl, Violet Grace has been killed by a stolen car travelling between 70 and 80 miles per hour! Our family, friends are heartbroken! 💜 Please Please we need to do everything we can to make sure this never happens again 💜
