An incredible journey that has spanned over decades.

Yesterday was a very special day at PSD as we said goodbye to Tony Hulme, who is retiring after an amazing 42 years with the business.

Tony was one of the very first employees to join PSD, working alongside our founder, Norman Harrison, and our co-chairman, Clint Harrison, helping shape the company into what it is today.

Over the last four decades, Tony's dedication, loyalty and hard work have left a lasting mark on the business and the people around him. For many of our long serving team members, his retirement brought back countless memories, from overcoming challenges together to hearing Tony's trademark karaoke first thing in the morning.

Forty two years of service is an achievement few people ever reach, and it reflects the commitment, character and work ethic that Tony has shown throughout his career.

Tony, thank you for everything you have done for PSD. Your contribution will be remembered for many years to come.

From everyone at PSD, we wish you a long, happy and well deserved retirement. Enjoy every minute. ❤️

After attending the Warrington Youth Zone Business Breakfast yesterday, were back on the road this morning, this Edward and Alex visiting the Wigan Youth Zone Business Breakfast.

It was fantastic to meet so many local businesses that continue to support the incredible work being carried out by the Youth Zone, helping to create opportunities for young people across the region.

We also had the pleasure of hearing from Emmerson Boyce, a true Wigan Athletic legend, who shared his inspiring journey through professional football and life beyond the game. His honest insights into leadership, mental health, resilience and adapting to life after football gave everyone plenty to think about.

A few statistics that really stood out from the morning:
☑️ Nearly 5,000 young people are members of the Youth Zone
☑️ Every £1 invested creates more than £15 of social value for the local community

Thank you to everyone involved for a brilliant event. It is clear to see the positive impact the Youth Zone continues to have on young people in our communities.

A great morning at the Warrington Youth Zone Wired Together Business Breakfast for Alex and Laura.

We had the opportunity to hear from Bill Holroyd CBE DL, founder of OnSide and the driving force behind the Youth Zone movement across the UK.

Bill shared his journey of building Holroyd Meek into a successful business, along with the lessons, challenges, and decisions that shaped his career. His passion for creating opportunities for young people was clear to see.

A few statistics from the morning really stood out:

☑️ Over 5,000 young people are members of Warrington Youth Zone
☑️ OnSide now operates 20 Youth Zones across the UK, with more planned
☑️ More than 1 million young people across the UK are currently not in education, employment or training

Thank you to everyone at Warrington Youth Zone for hosting another excellent event and for the fantastic work being done to support young people in our communities.
