Just finished a full rear end refresh on a BMW X5 E53 . The car is a 200k miles 3.0d 6 speed manual .
Also , almost missed my 15.00 aclock appointment on Friday at Wheels in motion in Chesham for a 4 wheel alignment so had to travel there without the rear bumper .
Needless to say , the car drives perfect now .

The only suspension bit that was changed in 200k miles at the back was one wishbone . It just shows how well designed this cars are .

I have used adhesive and 90 from for protection .

Fuel tank Restoration . Old paint and rust was removed and then it was primed with Jotamastic 90 , painted and clear coated . The inside was cleaned and treated with FeDOX rust remover , protected with Fertan rust converter and coated with Tapox 2K.

Conversion from normal e30 steering rack to the purple e46 quick steering rack . New power steering hoses , spacers and a modified Vauxhall Corsa C steering linkages.
