First 48 hours on a new to you car needs: clay bar, iron fallout treatment, paint check, protection on a clean surface. Not on top of whatever the forecourt left behind.

Great for efficiency. Less great for the discs that are now sitting there doing nothing and quietly rusting from underuse.

That's contamination embedded in the clear coat. Washing doesn't lift it. A pressure washer doesn't shift it.

Only a clay bar does. After treatment it feels like glass. That's what your paint is supposed to feel like.
