In for a diagnostic and replacement glow plug control module.
Common issue with these Tiguan’s.
The glow plug control module has been modified with later hardware and software.

Replaced with a genuine unit with the latest part numbers and pre installed software.

Audi S3 in with us for some diagnostics.
Customer reports “ every light on the dash” he wasn’t joking.

Carried out a diagnostic scan and found communication issues stored in all control units but no indication as to what wasn’t communicating. Traced to the All wheel drive control module not communicating.
Wiring to the control module
Was tested including CAN signals all tested and confirmed the module was faulty.
We opened up the unit and found heavy water
Damage.
Haldex control module replaced with a genuine item and coded using ODIS.
Road tested and confirmed as successful repair.

A quick message to say thank you for your support and thank you for being patient.

Since we’ve started posting on social media again after a long break we have been overwhelmed with the support and amount of phone calls for quotes.

We are pretty much all caught up with quotes and we’ll have the outstanding quotes out tomorrow.

A prime example of the benefits of choosing a specialist with the correct knowledge, workshop procedure information and tooling.
This little VW up has previously had a gearbox repair prior to the current owner purchasing the vehicle.
Presented to us with a gear box oil leak we investigated and found the automatic shift controller had been replaced.
The control unit had not been sealed into the gearbox casing, 1 bolt was missing 1 bolt was cross threaded and 1 bolt was so over tightened it had stretched. Less the 50% of the required oil remained.
Control Unit removed, cleaned and resealed along with new bolts, oil replenished and finally gear box adaptations reset.
An extended road test confirmed no more leaks and the car drove great.

VW California in with us for a replacement cambelt and coolant pump.
Initially the van was in for a service and we picked up a timing fault during a diagnostic scan.

Cam to crank correlation was out by 2 teeth and fuel pump timing was out by 3 teeth.

Genuinely surprised how far out this one was.

BMW 118i in for a suspected fuel leak.

Stripped down and located the leak coming from all fuel injectors.

This vehicle had recently had extensive works done elsewhere on the engine due to a failed timing chain. New injector bolts had not been fitted despite being a one time use part. 10 brand new genuine bolts from bmw were less then £10 🙈

Injectors and fuel rail cleaned and new bolts fitted for the injectors and fuel rail,
Oils and filter change carried out and back in the road.

Do it nice not twice😂

Audi Q3 In for a oil leak

✅ replaced the timing belt and coolant pump along with a new front crankshaft oil seal fl**ge. Sump removed to ensure a quality repair as per Audi workshop instructions.
No nasty short cuts that can cause
Further oil leaks.

✅ front lower arm bushes replaced, these had been done previously but the bush was not secured in the housing correctly most likely a cheap after market replacement

✅ and finally a set discs and pads on the rear
