❤️ TODAY MARKS 19 YEARS OF RUGELEY & DISTRICT COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDERS ❤️

📸 Where our storey began ….

This photograph takes us back to the early days of Rugeley & District Community First Responders — a group of local people who decided to give their time to help others in their community 🤝

Today we will have been operating as a charity for 19 years 🚑

A lot has changed since this photograph was taken. Equipment has changed, training has changed, the way we work has changed &, inevitably, some of the people involved have changed too 📚🩺

But one thing hasn’t changed:

Our commitment to our community 🥰

Over the past 19 years, volunteers have given thousands of hours of their own time to support people in emergencies, teach CPR, promote lifesaving skills & help make sure defibrillators are available when they are needed ⚡️❤️‍🩹

There have been many people who have played a part in our journey — volunteers past & present, local businesses, community groups, fundraisers, donors & members of the public who have supported us along the way 👏

This anniversary belongs to all of them ❤️
