β€οΈ TODAY MARKS 19 YEARS OF RUGELEY & DISTRICT COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDERS β€οΈ
πΈ Where our storey began β¦.
This photograph takes us back to the early days of Rugeley & District Community First Responders β a group of local people who decided to give their time to help others in their community π€
Today we will have been operating as a charity for 19 years π
A lot has changed since this photograph was taken. Equipment has changed, training has changed, the way we work has changed &, inevitably, some of the people involved have changed too ππ©Ί
But one thing hasnβt changed:
Our commitment to our community π₯°
Over the past 19 years, volunteers have given thousands of hours of their own time to support people in emergencies, teach CPR, promote lifesaving skills & help make sure defibrillators are available when they are needed β‘οΈβ€οΈβπ©Ή
There have been many people who have played a part in our journey β volunteers past & present, local businesses, community groups, fundraisers, donors & members of the public who have supported us along the way π
This anniversary belongs to all of them β€οΈ
And weβd love to hear from youβ¦
How long have you known about Rugeley & District Community First Responders? π
Were you around in the early days? Have you attended one of our CPR sessions? Have you supported a fundraising event? Or perhaps youβve only recently discovered what we do?
Tell us below. Weβd love to hear from you.
Hereβs to 19 years β & to continuing to make our community a little safer, one person at a time π Officialwmas
