We’ve been looking at recruitment and sponsorship the wrong way around.
Recruitment shouldn’t simply be about filling vacancies.
And sponsorship shouldn’t simply be about finding someone willing to sponsor you.
Businesses need to ask:
Who do we need to help our business grow?
Graduates and international professionals need to ask:
How can I become valuable enough that a great employer wants to invest in and retain me?
When businesses focus on building stronger teams and international professionals understand what employers genuinely need everyone benefits.
Better careers need better businesses.
And better businesses need better teams.
That’s the conversation we need to keep having.
