🔧🛠️🔧Ford Ecoboost Wetbelt Replacement 🔧🛠️🔧

Ford 1.0 litre EcoBoost engines use a Wet Belt instead of the traditional Timing belt, The belt is inside your vehicle's engine & constantly running in oil 🤦‍♂️

Fords recommendation to change these belts are every 10 years or 150,000 miles,

We recommend getting it done between 6-8 years or 60-80,000 miles, as these are prone for failing prematurely which causes major Engine damage & require a replacement engine.

Due to it having the Automatic DSG Gearbox the engine needed to be removed 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Following last night’s announcement from the Prime Minister, I can confirm that the garage will remain open and our work will continue – to support you.

Given the critical support we provide to keep key workers moving, garages are exempt from the business closure order. They need to be open for NHS staff, teachers, care workers, delivery drivers and all the other key workers that we’re relying on in this crisis.

Without the support of us garages, We can't keep these key workers on the road.

Volkswagen T4 in today!
Customer complains that it wouldn't start when left over night. Also an heavy Diesel knock, Smoking & an heavy oil leak!
Customer has only just bought it and it has apparently had a full engine rebuild! 😮
After a full inspection it become apparent that the glow plugs didn't seem to be operating or getting any power to them?
We manually checked the glow plug relay & found it was faulty so replaced it with a new genuine functioning one. BUT still wasn't applying any power to the Glow plugs!! After 3 hours of tracking & tracing the wiring we discovered that the fusebox had melted inside the glow plug relay area & pushed in the contacts!!
We then rewired it to the New relay & got it working as they should & sending power, but all 4 glow plugs was found faulty! Carried on to replace the glow plugs to find 2 snapped glow plugs & 2 looked to have been burnt away!! After repairing & replacing the Glow plugs the van fired up perfectly as it should HOWEVER still had the horrendous diesel knock!
We then checked the injection pump timing and it was way out!! Adjusted accordingly & set it up properly & managed to get it running perfect, healthy & knock free with a little more power due to the injection pump timing!
Turbo Oil return gasket replaced to cure the oil leak!
Van returned to the customer today who is over the moon! 🚐🚐💨💨

2007 R56 Mini Cooper S. Running Lumpy, Logging Misfires & Showing Vanos Faults on Diagnostic Check.
Upon further inspection we found the very common Stretched Timing Chain Problem & Broken Chain Guides! The Chain was so stretched that the tensioner had past its limit!
New Chain Kit, Vanos Solenoid & Genuine tensioner later, The car is back running perfect again. Ran it up to Temperature then Changed the Oil & Filters.
All of our work is carried out to a High professional Standard!
