We don’t update the page regularly, everyone knows what we do but this customer was lucky!

This customer came to us with diagnosing them self being something on the drive belt.

We knew straight away it was timing belt related

3 weeks from diagnosis to been booked in at customers convenience. Then another another 4 weeks before re booking in.

Lucky man wouldn’t have lasted much longer

We have not posted an update on our page for a while but we have still been busy as ever with a lot of things happening ...

DJ autos have expanded.

The business next door to us retired so we took the opportunity to expand

We now offer a lot more services that we couldn’t previously.

Along with all mechanical work and repairs as we did previously.

We diagnosed this bmw with turbo failure.

Unfortunately from time to time things don’t always go the way we like.

One of the bolts securing the turbo to the exhaust manifold sheared. We tried every avenue to get the remaining bolt out but unfortunately couldn’t save the manifold.

A replacement was fitted along with the new turbo and a full set of oil cooler gaskets to cure the oil leak it was suffering from.

This Vauxhall was recovered in to us for a head gasket replacement.

Vehicle had low compression resulting it no longer starting.

Upon removing the cylinder head we found extensive damage.

The vehicle had been ran overheating till it cut out 🙈.

Upon speaking to the customer and options given they decided on having us re build the engine.

Engine stripped down and re honed the cylinders.

New piston rings big end bearings. Head work and rebuilt with all new relevant parts. Thermostat, coolant pump oil cooler and a second hand inlet manifold required due to melting from the heat!

We had this vehicle booked in to us for suspension issues.

We always do our own diagnostic finding as often issues are miss diagnosed.

But in this case the it was clearly obvious and the customers diagnosis was correct

This Hyundai came to us with a miss-fire.

This normally is caused by a faulty spark plug or coil pack. But we soon diagnosed this wasn’t the issue.

A compression test showed cylinder 4 had 0 compression at all.

Upon removing the cylinder head to inspect our thoughts was confirmed.

The exhaust valve had burnt out.

New valves fitted, cylinder head machined and rebuilt back up complete with a new timing chain kit

Another clutch replacement.This time due to being excessively worn causing the clutch to slip under load
