Yesterdays job was this Skoda Yeti, in for an oil & oil filter change and a diagnostic check to find the cause on an ABS fault.
We found that the bearing was damaged which had caused a ridge in the ABS sensor, so we replaced both the nearside rear bearing and the sensor.
While changing the oil filter we discovered that it had a long-term oil leak, caused by a hairline crack in the oil filter housing, due to the cap being over tightened, so we replaced the oil filter cap.

Fiat 500 in for a comprehensive service, timing belt kit and Waterpump fitting, and a nearside window regulator replaced. All parts were supplied by the customer.
The spark plugs were in dire need of replacing, once again shows that a comprehensive service is not the same at every garage, we replace all filters / spark plugs on every comprehensive service unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Vauxhall combo van in today for a suspected wheel bearing fault. Upon looking at the vehicle we found numerous faults including, shock absorbers, tyres, driveshafts, wheel bearings, exhaust mounts and welding. We informed the customer and asked what action he wished us to take. We replaced the nearside driveshaft, wheel bearing, lower pinch bolt and broken wheel stud. Supplied and fitted the exhaust mount. We also changed the fuel and air filter as requested. The vehicle is going straight from us for 2 tyres then off for the welding done.
