Pretty sure Aston Martin used every single clip and bolt in the UK to hold this front bumper on ๐Ÿ‘€

Itโ€™s always a privilege when we get trusted with something like this Aston Martin DBX. It came to us in need of a freshen up due to some minor imperfections on the front bumper. We never anticipated that 90% of the job would be spent removing and refitting the bumper. I think we will be seeing bumper clips in our sleep ๐Ÿคฃ

Before anything was removed, the paint was scanned and some spray out cards were done. These were checked against the car in all lighting to ensure the match was 10/10. Once we were happy, Leon got the bumper stripped with some help from the team before repairing and prepping the bumper for paint.

Once painted, it was carefully re-fitted before it was quality checked and loaded onto a trailer to go to Aston Martin for a recalibration โค๏ธ

Quick jobs donโ€™t mean compromisesโค๏ธ

We got this VW Caddy sorted and back to its owner in no time. The repair called for a replacement wing, new door, new hinges and when painted a blend across the sliding door to ensure an undetectable repair.

The highlight of this job came from the skill of our technician Gilly. He pulled the A pillar straight from the hinge so precisely that the original paint on the pillar didn't even need touching.

As always the new panels were test fitted before they received any paint. Once painted and cured they were then refit to the vehicle putting it back to factory.

This was an expensive car park accident....

Our customer made the unfortunate mistake of driving over a boulder in a local car park.

On our first assesment we thought it was just the sill that was damaged but once stripped we saw that the actual floor of the car had crumpled under the passenger seat base. A full side frame was ordered direct from VW as the sill piece can't be bought separately. The full interior including the dashboard was removed to gain access for work to be carried out. As the vehicle is hybrid it also required a full power down once the vehicle had received a pre-diagnostic scan.

The sill piece was cut to recommended repair data. The crumpled floor and sill was removed and the new pieces test fitted along with the wing and doors to make sure everything lined up as it should. Once we were happy Gilly got cracking with applying a coat of epoxy and welding the panels in place.

Once the car was structurally sound little bits of filler were applied on joins where needed. Sealer and sill protection was applied to prevent stone chips and corrosion to the sill. The repaired car was then handed over to Leon to (you guessed it) paint it to perfection! The full side was painted polished and pieced back together restoring the car back to is former glory.

Thankfully for our customer, they were able to claim through their insurance for this repair which is something we specialise in. Don't be bullied into using your insurers network repairer. Choose right, choose coopersโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

This BMW 3 Series came in for a full front end rebuild๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ”ง๐Ÿš™

When any car takes an impact like this you can never assume itโ€™s just a scrape or a dent. The front bumper was cracked, the headlight was smashed and the bonnet edge was buckled.

You canโ€™t just patch up a front end like this and hope for the best it needed stripping right back to fully access the damage underneath.

Gilly got it up on the ramp and stripped the front end to make sure the damage didnโ€™t go beyond the surface. The front bumper and headlight were beyond repair, so we ordered in brand new replacements. The damage on the wing was minimal so rather than replacing it, it was repaired. The buckled bonnet was replaced over repair to ensure the rebuild was done to the highest of standards with no filler being applied to the car. The panels were prepped for paint before being handed over to Leon in the booth to paint them to perfection.

Once cured, everything was rebuilt, aligned, and quality checked to make sure the car was 100/10 before we handed over the keys.

No bodges, no oversized gaps just back to looking like it never happened.

Caught JUST in time๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

This Mercedes convertible came into the shop with some nasty damage to the rear bumper and a couple of dents on the rear quarter. The bumper had been scraping against the rear quarter and thankfully the owner brought it to us at the perfect time before it had a chance to start rusting away.

Leaving exposed metal to the british weather is a recipe for a massive rust problem down the line so getting it repaired early saved a lot of headaches!!

The dents on the quarter panel were pulled, filled and primed to restore it to its original condition. A brand new rear bumper was ordered and when it arrived it received a simple prep ready for paint. This included fitting new bumper brackets to ensure the bumper sits perfectly flush with the rest of the car. As a final touch a brand new chrome side moulding was fitted to complete the factory look.

We got this one turned around and returned to our customer just in time for the heatwave!!
