Just to let everyone know. If you are towing a trailer or Caravan into mainland Europe and it has a gross weight of more than 750kg you have to register it with Gov.uk the cost is £26.00 and you have to fit a new number plate (not the same as the towing vehicle) This has been the case for commercial trailers for a while but now it is for private trailers/caravans.
