Some very impressive gains on this Golf R with an Avon Tuning stage 1 remap, nearly an extra 50 bhp and 100 Nm over the initial figures on the rolling road.

As an Avon Tuning authorised agent we are able to offer the same map file at our workshop in Romsey, not just for the Golf R but for the majority of the VW group of vehicles.

Over the weekend a white Audi Q3 was stolen from a garage on our industrial estate and used for a ram raid. I can confirm that it wasn't one of our customers vehicles or any vehicle in connection with our business.

All vehicles left on site/in the workshop overnight or the weekend the keys are not left on site so if we were to get broken into the vehicles can't easily be driven away.

One of our regular customers booked in for a full service, cambelt and water pump replacement, all genuine VW parts used. Also fitted a missing AdBlue cover.

Then it was on to tuning, we supplied a Milltek non resonated DPF back system and then carried out an Avon Tuning stage 1 remap.

A VW T6.1 Sportline booked in this week. The customer took it to the local VW commercial main dealer that he had bought the van from for its first MOT and it failed due to a leaking rear shock absorber. This vehicle came with the factory accessory Eibach coilovers. The rear shock absorbers are no longer available from VW so they can't repair it for the MOT😲 The customer contacted us as he was desperate as it's his work van. I contacted one of our suspension suppliers and he knew straight away that the Eibach shock absorbers are actually KW ST items with Eibach stickers on them and he had them in stock. 48 hours and the new shock absorbers were delivered and fitted.

A VW Troc booked in with no heat from the heater which required the heater matrix behind the dashboard replacing. On final testing it was noted that the AC didn't work due to low refrigerant charge, the system was regassed and is now working ready for the warmer weather.

A customer's Audi TTS booked in with a knocking noise whilst turning, initially I thought it was a loose wheel but after some investigation it was found to be a failed front shock absorber. A replacement Audi shock absorber and top mounting assembly cured the noise.

This is a good example not to use non genuine parts. This Audi A3 euro 6 TDI had a cambelt and water pump replaced before they bought the car a couple of years ago and was booked in with a really bad coolant leak. The non genuine water pump had failed. Replaced with a genuine Audi water pump and cambelt kit.
