Over the last couple of years James has adjusted his lifestyle to fully embrace fitness and looking after himself, so this year's goal is to compete and complete the Cardiff half marathon with a group of friends from Fit Six.

That being said we need to accumulate some donations.

Latch is a Welsh children's cancer charity that does amazing work and support for children and their families being treated at the children's hospital for Wales.

Please give as little or as large as you can to support them.

However much is donated publicly from you, NGM Garage will match that donation.

Exciting Update.......

Starting soon, we’ll be introducing a small £2.50 fee for MOT retests. But here’s the good bit — every single penny will be donated to charity! This will be collected and donated every 6 months.

It’s our way of turning a necessary part of the job into something that can do a little good in the world. We’ll be choosing local causes to support, and we’ll keep you updated on where the donations are going.

If you do have any suggestions then please drop us a DM and we will take a look.

We carry out a large number of MOT tests each month with an average of 35% failing. That is a considerable amount of money we can generate to great causes in the local community.

Employment Type: Full-Time Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

The Role:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics to identify vehicle faults and issues.

Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicle types.

Repair or replace defective parts and components.

Complete MOT preparation and testing (if qualified).

Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.

Keep accurate records of work carried out.

Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic or similar role.

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).

MOT Tester qualification (desirable but not essential).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Full UK driving licence.

A passion for vehicles and delivering excellent customer service.

It's beginning to look a lot like.....
No it's still a bit too early, however in good preparation we are kind of getting ready!

We will be running our hamper raffle again this year.

We will have 2 extra large hampers up for grabs, one for the adults and one for the kids.

All you need to do to be in the chance of winning is have a raffle ticket.

Any purchase made will qualify, whether it is a bulb or an engine change, an MOT or a clutch, a winter check or full service.

Also, an additional social media draw will be made. All you need to do is like, share and comment to be entered.

The draws will be made on Thursday 19th December.

We took on the might of REPS Motorcycles team at karting last night for our joint Christmas get together.
James took the win in the first session for us but the second session, no one could touch the speed of the biker boys, with Dan and Rhys obliterating the timing sheets.
Good laugh and nice to relax after a long year...

We are closing at 12:30 Friday 22nd December and reopening 7:30 Tuesday 2nd January.
