Another day and another great car from the JLR stable for remapping. The F-Type is such a pretty car and quite hard to believe they came out 11 years ago. There are two 3.0S/C variants a 340 and a 380Bhp version, both are identical mechanically bar the engine map so the lesser powered one has rather nice gains of 60Bhp 50Nm. All completed at the customers house in Essex for convenience.

Jaguar XF 2.2D Engine and Gearbox Remap

Gain 32Bhp 50Nm
A trip down to Hastings to remap this 188Bhp 2.2d litre Jaguar XF, Gaining a respectable 32Bhp doing so and reducing the pull away lag these cars suffer from. The customer also took advantage of our special combined offer of a gearbox remap at the same time which makes for smoother faster gearchanges and reducing the lag further.

Mercedes C220CDi Remap

Gain 22Bhp 60Nm
Another returning customer who now has this 2010 Mercedes C220 CDi - which is a pretty economical vehicle anyways but always looking to improve. The power increases for 168Bhp to 190 and torque up from 400 to 460Nm which is very nice. The customer has since reported back to us some very healthy mpg improvements too.

Jaguar XF 2.2D Remap

Gain 23Bhp 50Nm
While we remapped the Caddy the owner asked us to look at his Jaguar XF 2.2d. It had been remapped previously by an unknown garage but was still very laggy as these cars are stock. We removed the ECU to get a real read of what changes had been made and indeed it had been mapped and more agressively than we would normally do in fuelling and boost but nothing to address this cars Achilles heel the lag. Now with a full read we can go back to previous settings or stock we installed our remap. The test drive showed a massive reduction in the lag and no less power was detected even at WOT.

VW Caddy Remap and speed limiter removal

Gain 43Bhp 60Nm
A trip to Littlehampton which is a town on the south coast and not a medical condition to remap this ex BG vw caddy. First thing we noticed was the rubbish common rail tuning box which we removed. Then unlocked the ecu and at this point we noticed the DPF had previously been removed. After correcting the dpf presures and clearing down the faults that had previously been hidden we remapped the van accordingly and removed the previous speed limiter gaining 43Bhp and 60Nm

Jaguar XFS Remap

The Red Alloygators may be a personal choice that we wouldnt all go for but this is one handsome XFS in virtually immaculate condition commensurate to its miniscule mileage
The 3.0 V6 engine tunes very well adding a very tasty 50Bhp and 80Nm to an already decent number. All done at the customers home for convenience.

Ford C-Max 1.6 TDCi Remap

Gain 21Bhp 50Nm
This is about the 6th car we have remapped for Mark. The colour is a bit marmite but these c-maxs are a very practicle vehicle and have a fairly economical 1.6 TDCi engine but it only gives 114Bhp 270Nm standard. A remap adds some extra sparkle while actually improving fuel economy if driven sensibly.

Ford Transit Connect Remap and Speed Limiter Removal

Pretty much everyone I know around the South East is in one way or another effected by Saddo Khans changes to driving their vehicle on the roads they already pay road tax for. In this case a new EURO 6 van was purchased to mean not paying the daily ULEZ charge. However 99Bhp from the 1.5TDCi engine and a factory speed limter was very annoying. We have rectified those issues removing the speed limiter and adding 21Bhp 60Nm of torque which will also improve fuel economy if driven sensibly. If only Mr Khan could be removed so easily

A rarer 3.0 petrol supercharged XF with 335Bhp 450Nm stock getting some remapping treatment gaining a very impressive 65Bhp 50Nm of torque. While it wont be as economical as a 3 liter diesel it also doesnt have to pay Saidiq Khans ULEZ charge so not a bad vehicle after all
