• Update on Driving Lessons •
I understand that learner drivers are eager to restart their driving lessons.
I have recently been asked by a few of my pupils, if they can resume their lessons, as they have seen other instructors out on the road.
I can’t comment on what other instructors are doing, as it could be that they are giving driving lessons to "Key Workers" who have an emergency test already booked.
However, in order to protect the health and safety of myself, my family, pupils and their families, I will continue to adhere to the official advice from both the Welsh Assembly Government and the DVSA.
This means that we will not restart lessons until we have official advice to do so, and that it is safe for myself and my pupils.
Being in such close proximity in an enclosed car, puts driving lessons in a high risk category, this is why driving tests are also currently on hold.
I understand that the delay is frustrating, and we will do all we can to get you back on the road as soon as it is safe to do so.
Please bear in mind that not everything you may see or hear on the news applies to us as rules vary between England, Scotland, N Ireland and Wales.
