Tomorrow is going to be one of the most exciting days we’ve had at Gleam Detail. ❤️
We’ve got a full production day planned around a Mercedes GTR and a Porsche 911, including the owner of Wype travelling down in his personal 911 to have his car detailed by us. We’ll also be showcasing a whole range of UltraCoat products, alongside plenty of content that we’re really looking forward to making.
For those of you who have been with us for years, you’ll know Gleam has had its ups and downs.
Like a lot of businesses, COVID hit us hard, but for us it was also an incredibly difficult time personally. Martin’s wife and Wills’ mum became seriously ill and was left with lifelong effects. It had a huge impact on our family and, naturally, the business slowed down.
Over the past year, Wills has stepped up alongside Martin and taken on the front of the operations, and together we’ve managed to push Gleam further than we ever expected.
We’ve grown a huge following, becoming one of the most followed detailing businesses in the UK and, as far as we’re aware, the most followed detailer in Kent. Our maintenance plan is almost fully booked, we’re consistently seeing multiple cars a day and we’ve been lucky enough to work with some brilliant product partners including Wype, UltraCoat, Kaori and many more to come.
It’s honestly been an amazing year for us, and it means more than we can put into words.
There’s a lot more coming too. We’ve got some seriously exciting plans for Gleam over the rest of 2026 and into 2027.
