🚐 IMPORTANT CUSTOMER REMINDER 🚐
We would like to remind all customers of the reporting requirements outlined in our terms and conditions.
Any accident, damage, breakage or fault must be reported to us within two hours of it occurring or being discovered, regardless of who was responsible. This includes issues that may initially appear minor or anything that stops working during your hire.
Unfortunately, we have recently had several vehicles returned with minor damage or broken items that were only brought to our attention on the day of return. Yesterday, a vehicle was returned with a broken rooflight that had not been reported before it arrived back at our premises.
We fully understand that accidents and breakages can happen. Our concern is not necessarily that something has gone wrong, but that we have not been informed. Late or non-reporting can cause considerable disruption, particularly when the vehicle is due to leave again shortly afterwards.
Reporting an issue promptly gives us time to:
* Assess the damage properly
* Source any necessary replacement parts
* Arrange repairs in advance
* Reduce disruption for the next customer
* Help keep repair costs to a minimum
With immediate effect, if damage or breakages are discovered following a vehicle’s return and were not reported within the required two-hour period, we reserve the right to retain the £750 security deposit while the matter is assessed, with any deductions handled in accordance with our terms and conditions.
Please contact us as soon as an issue occurs—even if it was not your fault or you believe it to be minor. Honest and timely communication allows us to resolve matters fairly and efficiently for everyone involved.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
