Looking to kick start your career in the motor trade?
We’re a busy, friendly family-run garage in Richmond, and we’re looking for a motivated Apprentice Mechanic to join the team and start their journey into a skilled trade.

🛠️ What’s Involved:
✅ Full-time role – Monday to Friday, 9am–5.30pm (with a 1-hour lunch break)
✅ One day per week at college – Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle) at Darlington College
✅ Full training provided – ideal for someone looking to learn and grow
✅ You’ll be hands-on from day one – no standing around with a brush!
✅ 2-week trial to make sure it’s a good fit
✅ Immediate start for the right person!

🚗 Who We’re Looking For:
✔️ Someone keen to learn and get stuck in
✔️ Ideally under 21 – perfect for a school leaver or young person starting their career
✔️ Own transport preferred (due to garage location and travel to college)
✔️ A bit of mechanical experience is great – but not essential

Apprentice wanted

We are currently looking for an apprentice

Ideally we are wanting someone with some of mechanical background but not essential as training will be given

I can guarantee you won't be stood watching people work or wandering around all day with a brush in your hand you will be hands on from day one working on cars

You will be expected to go to college one day a week so ideally having some form of transport would be helpful it will also aid getting to and from work
