Wait that’s not supposed to be through there!

Routing your brake away cable through the chassis can cause damage to the cable sheathing, can get snagged causing the brakes to be applied when not necessary or worse not applying the brakes if the caravan detaches!

Always make sure the brake away cable is routed through the eyelet underneath the chassis or left free.

Replacing quite a few sets of brake shoes recently.

Pitted and damaged shoes can cause braking and damage to your brake drums.

Having them replaced before further damage occurs can save you hundreds of pounds in repairs.

While there are many things you can DIY 🔨 in your caravan ANYTHING gas or electrical(12v or 230v)related should be done by a trained professional! ⚡️

This customer had a faulty charger and took it upon themselves to change it, unfortunately they didn’t have the correct connectors and so couldn’t make a secure connection!
This lead to their leisure battery not charging, heat generating in the connector which could of lead to a fire 🔥
