A lovely 2012 Audi S3 in for our custom tuning session!
Now this car is completely stock apart from an air filter. With some bolt on mods and minor fuel system upgrades we can achieve as much as 385bhp on the stock K04 064 turbocharger however the customer uses this daily and plans to upgrade in the future.
Let’s see what we can do in stock form!
First things first, full health check before tuning commences, health check came back nice and clean, let’s begin tuning!
Base map written and the car performing as should so time to ramp things up!
Finished at a conservative 1.4Bar of boost, 0 timing pull, rail pressures actual vs specified spot on, LPFP duty cycle nice and low. Overall a very happy car! Wastegate duty cycle at only 65% so lots of room for more power in the future when the customer adds some bolts ons and a VIS HPFP.
Finished at 320bhp 368ft lb, when the customer returns with his upgrades fitted this car will easily produce 380+bhp 400ft lb!

Sent the customer off for a test drive, he returned with a massive grin and I quote “This is quick as f**k now!” 🤣
Another happy customer with a car tuned correctly and custom by a qualified tuner in front of his eyes!
I see so many posts by companies here in South Wales claiming they use “dyno proven files” and comparing a stock file to the tuned file in WinOLS to try and make themselves look like they know what they are doing 🤦🏼♂️ fact is they don’t have a clue how to calibrate your ECU, all they do is buy a file from an unknown file provider and whack it on. No knowledge, no training and no skill!
