Audi Q3 service, rear brakes and timing belt kit with water pump.

The pads which i didn't get a picture of were nearly down to the metal.

Nearly 10 years since the last cambelt change so it was due. The tensioner had also backed right off.

Replacing the cambelt kit got rid the cam crank correlation code and gave peace of mind to the customer.

BMW E60 525d worth a grumble on acceleration.

Prop bearing failure.

The bearing that was removed was the original dated 2004 worth the undercoat over spray on it. Lasted 22 years and 230k miles.

Gone are the knocks and bangs.

New front and rear, top mounts, dampers and springs. Also new front drop links.

2015 vauxhall corsa engine management light on, code P0138 which is secondary lambda high voltage.

Relatively easy one to diagnose through live data.

Simplified process was;

Live data showing no variance in voltage at all, after a wiggle of the wire at the sensor itself they're was a drop in signal and again no variance.

New OE sensor and immediate correct sensor behavior restored and no code reoccurrence.

Car was also not as cold as it should be so it got an aircon service, it had never been touched from new so it was low due to natural wastage of the system. 190 grams low of a 460g system over a ten year span is great. Passed the pressure then the vacuum tests with no issue.

Renault scenic, in for a few issues.

Rear brakes down to the metal and the rear bearings seized to the spindles.

Aircon system low due to leaking from the high side valve. New valve core and regas sorted the issue.

Front brakes were also replaced and in doing so we found a failed cv clamp. Extensive clean up, regreasing and new clamp sorted the cv boot.

Customer happy with the car again.

Skoda Rapid 1.6 cr 2014, this is a cautionary tale about the covers that people think don't do much.

Wheel arch liner cap and then the headlight backing cap, both missing. New caps direct from manufacturer were less than £10.

To repair, a new headlight, wiring loom repair and the caps.

It ended up being quite the considerable repair cost wise.

But it left with an mot and fully working lighting assembly.

Quite an impressive failure, broken release bearing, broken arm pivot, broken clutch cover, worn out clutch plate and worn release bearing sleeve.

Everything replaced, cleaned and refitted as good as new.

2005 V70, don't see many of these anymore really. But it was in for an old familiar repair.

The inevitable fuel filler neck hose failure. As always we recommended doing both the breather and the main filler hose.

We have these down to a fine art really. We just partially drop the rear subframe and can reach in to change them. The joys of having long arms helps.

Volvo no longer supply these parts so online only.

Mk4 Renault scenic had a fairly unusual fault in that the front anti roll bar had broken.

New genuine bar and new front drop links got the car back on road safely and the driver seems to have noticed it's driving much better.
