We here at C.A and B.A Restoration mainly specialise in Hillman Imps and their variants. However we do can carry out work to other cars aswell.

We offer services such as full restorations, accident damage, general rust repair, motorsport builds and general work to them.

The photos I’ve added are some of the cars we’ve done over the years. These include multiple historic touring cars including two BTCC cars. One of which is the famous Bevan imp that resides in the Silverstone Museum. We’ve also restored multiple road cars from close to standard to highly modified.

Few hours today building up one of franks flat pack dashboard trays ,this is about the 5th one I have built and as its a mk1 I had to stick another hole in it with a slit to accommodate the wiring loom as it runs across the top of the heater box on the early cars as opposed to above the fuel tank in later models

Little update as things have been busy with work on customers cars and brens race imp, Karen's bonnet is repaired with ex pressed steel panels repair panels and spot on there are, ollies mk1 is getting close to being finished and Andrews chamois has had new centre sills, floor edges and the drivers side sill replaced again all with -pressed Steel Panels, A massive shout out to all that work at Ex-pressed Steel Panels for there help with supplying the parts needed to redo the the bodywork on brens race imp your help is much appreciated thanks col and bren

Update time Karen Benoy is just about finished we have to re hang the doors and drill a few trim holes and front indicator holes ,Work on the is going well and a nast repair patch around twice as big as was needed was removed and a nice new bit of zinctec let in and a new rear cone , Ollie spellman imp mk1 is coming together a job i have done many times now is the head linings ,its not something I like doing but very satisfying when done ,there is a small crease but I pulled it every way and it wants to stay ,engine is in so hopefully it will be ready to fire up as soon as Brendan is finished making the new wiring loom with fuses as its a mk1 to isolate the live horn and interior light ,hope everyone enjoys national we wont be at this years due to race commitments lets hope the weather stays good for it , cheers col and bren. Little update on whats been happening at the workshop, bren has been busy fitting an outer rear wheel tub and half rear wing on Karen Benoy , I have been stripping out a 66 chamois which is now at # and will be back next week sometime so will post pictures when its back in our workshop,

Dicks in epoxy primer is coming on nicely, Karen's is now the only imp in the workshop as the rally car job was canceled as was the stiletto so I took the opportunity to give the floor a coat of paint ,if your looking to get done on your classic car drop us a call ,the rebuild on the mk1 is gathering pace and a nice 998 engine has been purchased by the owner so it should make for a nippy little car , enjoy the weather all
