* Business Announcement *
As from 20th September 2021, the DVSA has stopped all trailer tests due to the increasing demand for Lorry tests nationwide.
This means that you are no longer required by law to take a B+E test to legally tow a trailer.
Firstly, I would like to thank every single person who has trained with me over the years for their business but most of all support.
I would like to reassure all clients who have booked and are yet to take their tests, that you will receive a FULL refund including any additional money paid for training as well as the test fee. Although this has a huge impact on me, Its important to me that this has minimal impact on my customers.
Although you don’t legally need to take a test, the government have strongly advised you still undertake training to ensure you can tow and drive your trailers safely. This includes loading, coupling and uncoupling to make sure your trailer is secure and roadworthy.
If you drive or are considering purchasing a caravan, please remember you very much fall into this category- accidents involving caravans and trailers can be catastrophic and fatal for everyone.
I am still here to offer this training, support & advice and would be very happy to discuss with each of you what options you have going forward, with training and understanding of trailers and towing.
It is all of our responsibility to ensure we are safe on the roads, safe when towing a caravan/trailer, safe in carrying livestock and equipment and safe for other road users.
Please do consider this before you venture out onto the roads.
Once again, thank you for your continued support through what are now uncertain times for the driving.
We are pleased to announce that from mid October we will be offering a one day trailer training course to accommodate all your towing requirements.
Please contact me for details.
Drive carefully and stay safe.
