We’re bursting with excitement to announce that Connor Jessop has passed his driving test!

Connor has been with us for a year and a half as an apprentice technician, and his journey has been nothing short of inspiring. Next September, he will qualify as a Jaguar Land Rover Level 2 technician, and we couldn’t be prouder!

Get to Know Our New Service Manager: Daniel Blackmore!

1. What’s one thing that makes you proud to work for Jaguar Land Rover?

It’s a British brand! I love working for a British manufacturer and being part of such a prestigious legacy.

2. Which is your favourite Land Rover?
It has to be the James Bond 007 Defender, featured in the film Spectre. What a car! It embodies adventure and style.

3. What is the best part of your job?
Working with the team! Making improvements and watching everyone develop is incredibly rewarding.

4. What is the hardest part of your job?
Honestly, I don’t find the job hard because I love it. Some days are more challenging than others, but that variety keeps things interesting!

5. What is one skill you have learned working for Jaguar Land Rover?
Handling all of our clients’ different problems has really enhanced my client handling skills. I love making our clients happy!

6. What’s your favourite way to unwind after work?
Relaxing with my partner while binge-watching Netflix. Soon, once our house is ready, we’ll be settled in Cornwall, enjoying the beaches and beautiful scenery.

7. If you could pick any famous person to bring to a work meeting, who would it be?
So many to choose from but, It would have to be Jeremy Clarkson. I love how straightforward and to the point he is!

8. Do you have any hidden talents?
I can do the worm! I will prove this at the Christmas party!

9. What has been the best day of your life so far?
The birth of my two sons. Nothing compares to that moment!

10. Name three things on your bucket list.

1. Drive Route 66
2. Visit New Zealand, especially for the Lions tour in 2029
3. Visit Bora Bora
