What He Loves About His Job
Alan finds great joy in watching his colleagues grow and develop, thanks to his coaching and support. He find's it rewarding to see others thrive!

Favourite Land Rover ?
When asked about his top choice, Alan confidently names the Defender 110 P635 4.4 OCTA. This iconic car perfectly captures the spirit of adventure.

Surprising Insights
During a recent off-roading experience day, Alan was amazed by the incredible capabilities of Land Rover vehicles. His enthusiasm was clear: “Just wow!”

First Car
Alan’s first taste of driving freedom came with a silver Golf GTi when he was just 17. A classic choice that many can relate to!

Outside Interests
When he’s off the clock, Alan enjoys paddleboarding with his two sons, making the most of family time. He’s also a huge rugby fan, proudly supporting of course the Exeter Chiefs.

Local Tradition
Residing in Exeter Devon, Alan has embraced the local culture, especially the ongoing debate about scone etiquette. He’s been reminded by our team it’s all about “jam first, not cream”!

We are excited to introduce our new Sales Executive, Sam Topley! Sam relocated from Birmingham last summer, bringing his wife and two children along as they sought a new life in beautiful Cornwall, following in the footsteps of family.

Sam has an impressive background, having served for six years in the Royal Navy as a Warfare Specialist, dedicated to serving our country. After that, he transitioned to the Navy Police for three years, where he utilized his skills to support and protect.

With a lifelong passion for the Land Rover brand and automobiles, Sam is eager to turn that enthusiasm into a rewarding career with us here at Vertu Land Rover Truro. His dedication and zest for life are truly inspiring.

We’re thrilled to introduce our new Service Manager, Daniel Blackmore! With an impressive 32 years in the motor trade,12 years of which were spent in the Jaguar Land Rover realm, Daniel brings a wealth of experience to our team.

Starting his career as an apprentice Panel Be**er, Daniel has progressed through various roles, including Parts Manager and Aftersales Manager, and now takes the helm as our Service Manager. His journey has led him from the Midlands to beautiful Cornwall, where he and his partner, along with their two sons, have long enjoyed holidaying by the sea. They’ve fallen in love with the relaxed vibe and stunning landscapes of Cornwall.

Wayne McNally, our General Manager, was on hand to give Daniel a warm welcome to our team. Already, Daniel has made a significant impact with his extensive knowledge and approachable demeanor. We are all excited to work alongside such a talented individual!
