Mens F600 - Sponsored by Pickering Tyres

A great turnout of 19 and so three grids of these Mens F600 at Round One. Most of these are BAS registered so expect to see plenty more F600 action as we continue through the Series. It was a perfect round for Irish driver Patrick Daly CW188; not only picking up a trophy in the Class Five final he took a clean sweep of wins in F600 and a fabulous maximum score! Closest to Daly over the weekend would be Lee Deegan CA48 with two out of three heat wins but James Brown SC811 would be the one to challenge Daly in the final and finish a tidy second. Deegan came home in third after eventually getting past Darren Grasby E202 and then these positions were set to the end of the race.

Ladies F600 - Sponsored by Pickering Tyres

It was surely just a blip in heat 1 that would see Carys Thomas C56 excluded from the rerun as she was on fire after this point. The final was a perfect example, Thomas already pulling a lead after lap one, the battle was really all about second place onwards in this race. Having taken a hatrick of second place positions through the heats Gemma Daly CW288 would add a further one to her scorecard in the final and this actually leaves her sitting just ahead of Thomas overall. The PAC ladies of PAC15 Angel Jones and PAC16 Ella Elford, both just out of Juniors, enjoyed some great duels over the weekend. In the final it was Jones who would come off best, pressuring Daly for second but having to settle for third in the end. Meanwhile host league driver Annie Uniacke WW525, winner of heat one, would claim the final trophy position and Elford unfortunately did not finish.

Even though we have retired from building grass cars, our F600s are still on top at RD1 of the British Autograss Series held at West Waterford🏁

Congratulations to Carys Thomas, Patrick Daly and Darragh O’Riordan clean sweep of final wins 🇮🇪👌🏻🏁

We also had some great final positions in men’s, ladies and junior F600s

Doing us proud guys thank you! It definitely doesn’t go unnoticed now we’ve retired💨💨

BBGEM is looking for a reliable and organised part-time team member to assist with packing orders and general office administration.

This is a varied role ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organised and being part of a growing business.

Duties Include:

Packing and preparing customer orders
Stock organisation and checking deliveries
General office administration
Answering emails and basic customer support
Data entry and filing
Assisting with day-to-day business tasks

What We’re Looking For:

Good organisational skills
Reliable and trustworthy
Friendly and positive attitude
Basic computer skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous packing or admin experience helpful but not essential

Position Details:

Part-time hours
Flexible working days/hours available
Based at BBGEM, GL19 3LB
