🥁🥁You may have seen our post last week regarding a huge saving for our customer and her 718 Boxster. Well here we have a new distance sensor that we have fitted to a PDK transmission. Its a fairly common fault causing loss of gears that even a dealer cant fix without replacing the gearbox at circa £20k 🫢
We had to source the part from Michigan and invest in specialist tooling in order to carry out the repair

This 2012 970 Panamera GTS came in the workshop for emissions related faults caused by a split secondary air pump pipe. In order to replace this pipe the plenum chamber/bulk head panel had to be removed. In doing this, it highlighted blocked drains which can cause engine ECU's to fill up with rain water. We can help you! Get your vehicle booked in for this check and clean.

At PMR this week, we were asked to find out why the panoramic roof stopped working on this Cayenne. Upon removal of the roof console it became evident that the cables that open and close the roof were damaged as a result of lack of lubrication of the roof mechanism. We are awaiting delivery of a new roof console before we can rebuild this for our customer.

We serviced a Panamera Hybrid last week. I don't think I've ever seen such a blocked air intake! It's worth noting that this was its first scheduled air filter change. If the customer hadn't authorised the air filter change it wouldn't have been long before engine performance and fuel economy were compromised.
