That’s a wrap on a busy first week 🔧🚗

A huge thank you to all of our customers old and new. From Towbars, to a bad starting issue with no fault codes to fitting alternators in the rain, all the way to, snapping sockets and getting rounded bolts out of a transit to fit some brake discs😩
But we got it all done 👌

Now time to chill out over the weekend and get ready for another busy week on the spanner’s ✌️

These are classed as a gen 2 style bearing which requires the correct tool to replace them to avoid premature failure

This one was replaced as it should be and the car no longer sounds like an airplane taking off 🔧🔧

3.0 Tdi Bi turbo A7 in for a coolant leak

Customer had only recently bought this vehicle and after only afew miles they had smoke coming from under the bonnet along with “top up coolant” message on the dash

Bit of a tough one to find, buried in the middle of the V of the engine but after abit of digging it was soon obvious where the coolant was going

Couple of coolant housings and some seals all replaced with genuine parts

Customer can hopefully enjoy some hassle free motoring for a while and actually enjoy their purchase 👌

Focus ST in for a service 🔧

Good quality parts and the correct oil (Same oil as they’d put in at Ford dealers)

Cabin air filter also changed which often gets overlooked when servicing these as it’s tucked behind the fuse box in the passenger footwell.

Bought with engine completely seized

Engine overhaul;
Head gaskets - Genuine Parts
Timing chains ,tensioners + guides - Genuine parts
Crankshaft polished and checked by J Nuttall engineers in Darwen
Main and big end bearings - king racing
Oil coolers - Genuine parts
Lots of other bolts gaskets coolant pipes etc - all Genuine

Nice way to spend over £5k on an engine 💰
Now back in the car and being ran in with regular oil changes 👌
