Once we’ve had a bit of a workshop reshuffle and created some space, we’ll be making a start on those panels soon as possible.

Triumph TR3a had originally came in due to the fan and crank pulley being loose. Upon a quick look the fan wasn’t in the best of shape, with one of the fins being found in the grill.

Whilst the car is with us and access is easier with everything apart, it’s also going to be having a timing chain replacement, some steering work carried out and the carburettors balanced.

Recently this Ford Thunderbird joined us after developing a starting issue. It didn’t take long to trace the fault to the starter motor. Once removed and inspected it was clear the unit was beyond repair.

It appears the starter had remained engaged whilst the engine was running, which caused it to burn out.
