Tucks Tyres are currently looking for either/or both to join our growing family business in Somerset:
AG/PLANT TYRE FITTER
Trained tyre fitter/technician. We would also consider a novice with hard working attitude. Training provided working along side us.
To fit new tyres and carry out tyre repairs.
Applicants would have to work mainly mobile out on site alone and predominantly on agricultural/plant vehicles but we also service the car/4x4 & Truck trades.
AGRICULTURAL ENGINEER
Looking for engineer/technician to carry out repairs and servicing on agricultural machines/tractors/plant & equipment in our equipped workshop and mobile.
Any experience and expertise on any manufactures would be a plus.
Welding skills a plus.
We predominantly work on the older 10+ years type of vehicles & various makes and manufactures JCB MF Ford NH JD Case IH Deutz Landini McCormick Zetor Kubota. Engine, Clutches, brakes, transmissions. Balers, trailers, straw choppers, lawn mowers, chainsaws everything.
Would also be open to an apprentice in this role.
Both positions require Full driving License
Experience in the agrisector would be preferred but not essential
Would have to be able to work & think for themselves.
Experience with hydraulic hoses, tractor driving skills & to be able to work flexible hours at busy times would be a bonus
Salary negotiable depending on experience
Job Type: Would consider Full-time & Part time for both positions.
