Musoshi Electric Vehicles Arrive in the UK Through New Astra Partnership
Astra Vehicle Technologies (AVT) to become the UK and Ireland distributor for Musoshi’s zero-emission micromobility electric vehicles.
The agreement will see AVT lead the introduction of Musoshi’s purpose-built electric vehicles to the UK and Irish markets, with responsibility for sales, distribution, technical support, parts supply and maintenance network assistance.
The partnership brings together Musoshi’s dedicated electric vehicle manufacturing capabilities with AVT’s 20 years of experience in commercial vehicle customisation, specialist engineering, and CNG and EV driveline installation.
Operating from its 72,000-square-foot facility on Deeside Industrial Estate in Flintshire, AVT will provide the technical expertise, infrastructure and customer support required to establish and grow the Musoshi brand across both markets.
Designed for urban operations and the evolving last-mile delivery sector, Musoshi’s compact, right-hand-drive electric vehicles offer businesses and public-sector organisations a practical alternative to conventional vans when working in congested and restricted environments.
The initial UK range will include the Musoshi Pop-Up Mini and Pop-Up Midi. Both vehicles are manufactured on Musoshi’s dedicated production lines in Turkey in accordance with accredited quality standards and hold GB and EWVTA approval for UK registration and use.
The Pop-Up Mini is a compact three-wheeled electric vehicle developed for agile urban delivery and collection operations. The larger Pop-Up Midi provides greater versatility through a range of body configurations suitable for delivery, service, maintenance, recycling and other specialist applications.
The agreement further strengthens AVT’s position within the alternative-fuelled commercial vehicle market, complementing its established work in EV, biomethane and CNG vehicle engineering and conversions.
The first Musoshi vehicles have already arrived in the UK and will make their public debut at two major industry events in September:
Everything Electric, Twickenham: 11–12 September 2026, stand CV3
RWM/ESS, NEC Birmingham: 16–17 September 2026, Hall 18, stand G220
