Queenborough Harbour is conveniently situated in North Kent where the rivers Swale, Medway & Thames meet and an ideal base for cruising to or from the East Coast, London, Ramsgate or the Continent. Queenborough Harbour Trust is a recently formed organisation responsible from 1st April 2012 for running Queenborough Harbour Mooring Services on the Isle of Sheppey. The Queenborough Harbour Trust is a not for profits organisation representing the interests of the local community and maritime users both resident and from further afield. Trust members are drawn from local boating and civic interest groups such as the Queenborough Yacht Club, Queenborough Rowing Club and the Queenborough Society. Queenborough Harbour is the primary boating refuge on the Swale providing valuable mooring facilities for local yachtsmen, fishermen and visitors alike drawn by the exceptional natural beauty and wildlife of the area, its fascinating maritime history, the convenience of the all tide landing and its strategic positioning as a safe haven between London and Ramsgate. What a great season it’s been seeing so many people doing their powerboat level 2 with Sheppey Boat Training! Thank you! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

And that's another season done. Last weekend was our final course, which was done in very stormy weather, but fortunately Queenborough Creek gave us plenty of shelter. Congratulations to Charleen and Liam on passing their RYA Level 2 powerboat certificate.

Over the winter the boat will have it's usual deep clean and servicing, plus the steering mechanism will be replaced with a hydraulic unit so it's less of a work out for the arms.

As ever, a big thank you to the staff and directors of Queenborough Harbour Trust for their support in the training we offer.

Due to the adverse weather conditions, the trot boat service will be suspended until further notice to ensure the safety of our passengers and crew.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

It’s looking like we have some strong winds coming in on Wednesday. 💨

We strongly advise all mooring holders to come down and check their boats and mooring lines to ensure everything is secure ahead of the windy weather.

Our trot boat is running 10am - 5pm.
