Wants to wish our Dad (Boss) a very, very happy 80th birthday. We are so lucky to see him and work with him every day. He’s the first in, in the morning (except for this morning) and always puts in a full shift. We are forever proud of him and his work ethic.

One of this last week’s jobs was to deliver this steam roller to its new owners 340miles away. The steam roller was used in its working day by Leyland Urban District Council so very close to our premises. Good luck to the new owners, I’m sure they’ll look after it as well as it has been already.

Huge congratulations to our apprentice Edward who was a finalist today at the CPA Stars of the Future Awards and also a finalist at the IRTE Northern Centre Young Engineer Awards two weeks ago. We are super proud of his work ethos. Well done Ed.

Longton Carnival - Lancashire this weekend. The theme was “Through the Years”. So we thought why not showcase “vehicles through the years”. So behind one of our service vehicles we had a 1910 Foden steam fairground engine pulling our 1969 Atkinson mk2 which also had our 2001 Scania 144 on a straight bar behind being pulled along as well.
We were also proud to provide truck, curtainsider trailer and a driver for Little Hoole schools float, who had “Music through the years” with live music being performed through the procession.
