1983 A-REG FORD ORION 1.6

Rare old thing.

Accordingly to how many left, you can count on one hand how many A-reg Ford orions are currently licensed and on the road at 43 years old! 🇬🇧

✅ Correctly recorded on v5 as Historic Vehicle
✅ Tax and MOT exempt
✅️ starts, runs and drives
✅️ 4 previous keepers
✅ Five-speed gearbox
✅️ original 2 k**b cassette stereo - working
✅️ recent custom made stainless exhaust
✅ Comes with its original steel wheels and original wheel trims

The interior is beautiful and well kept, the dashboard is in pretty decent condition with just one or two small cracks to be expected.

It starts, runs and drives well, making it a great usable classic benefiting very cheap classic insurance with free road tax and mot.

The bodywork isn't perfect, it wears its original patina, the paintwork on the osr quater looks likes its been over polished over the years (see last pic) has a couple rust scabs here and there and a small crack in the rear bumper plastic. But for a 43-year-old survivor, it's not bad at all!

Ford orion's this shape are becoming harder to find, not many that have survived all these years.

This is a lovely, usable piece of 1980s Ford history, ready for a new chapter with its next owner 💙

Out in the Cosworth this morning, when I spotted one of my lifelong mates out on a walk!

So i pulled over..

He asked where I was going, and I said, “I'm off to Old School Lane… are you coming?”

He jumped straight in the car, thinking I was having him on, until we actually arrived 😁

1992 VAUXHALL NOVA 3dr PROJECT

Here we have a Vauxhall Nova 1.2 that’s looking for somebody to take it on and finish what looks to have been a very promising restoration.

From what I can see, this has to be one of the best Nova shells I’ve seen in a long time. It’s had a full respray, with the underside painted in the same colour as the body. You can see that somebody has spent some serious time and money on this one!

✅ Full respray – painted shell and underside
✅ Extremely solid shell – no welding required
✅ Good battery tray
✅️ new fuel tank
✅️ new brake lines
✅️ V5 present
✅️ HPI CLEAR
✅ Underside presents very well
✅ Appears to have had new suspension
✅ Engine will fire on Easy Start
✅ Dashboard, with carpeting and some interior parts like door cards

🔧 PLEASE READ – WORK REQUIRED

This is an unfinished project and is currently a non-runner.

- No battery
- No fuel pump fitted
- spoiler needs re fitting
- paint needs attention where spolier goes
- one wheel cap missing
- Brakes require attention
- Engine will fire on Easy Start, but it will need the fuel system sorting and potentially further work to get it running properly
- No complete interior
- needs exhaust
- Dashboard has some cracking
- Crack to the passenger side of the lower windscreen, outside the driver's field of view
- Will need a thorough going-over and plenty of finishing work

However, with a shell this solid and what appears to be a considerable amount of restoration work already carried out, it would make a fantastic base for the right person

mk3 cavalier 1600 engine.

Please study photos, or better still come and view in person, im sure first to see will buy..
