Our fuel prices after the delivery due today will be very high. Unfortunately this is because we have to order two days in advance but only get the price the day before the delivery so effectively I’m ordering blind. I ordered on Monday for today, the prices that came through yesterday for today’s delivery were massively inflated. If the delivery were to come tomorrow it would have been better but it is too late to cancel and reorder. We are not money grabbing, we are just a small garage with no shop attached and the reality is our buying in price is high. I have put the bare minimum on the fuel to cover costs. Please don’t be angry with staff over the price. Ultimately if you don’t like the prices (I don’t either) you are of course free to use a different fuel station. There is a fuel finder app now set up by the gov that all fuel sites must report fuel price changes to within 30mins of said change which can be used for comparison. Hopefully it will have gone back down in price in time for the next delivery.

Hours/days negotiable (part time considered) but we do require a minimum of five years vehicle service/repair experience. Qualified MOT tester a bonus but not essential as training may be given to the right candidate.

We will open at 12pm today for fuel and stay open (no closure for lunch) until 5.30pm. If you have work booked in and can get your car here safely, please do so, Bryn will be on site from 10am.

Thanks to all you lovely people for keeping Bryn and Steve so busy. We are shut now until Monday 29th when we will be open for fuel only from 9-12, same for Tues 30th and Weds 31st. Then open as usual from Fri 2nd Jan 2026, if we have any fuel left!!
We will be looking for a part time (experienced) mechanic in the New Year too, before Bryn works himself into the ground! Details to follow.

Also, on his return it will be Vintage Weekend, so the fuel forecourt will be open all day Saturday 11th and for a few hours Sunday morning too.
