this came into the workshop with engine management faults and a dashboard warning of 'no engine start in 21 miles'
it had been to another garage previously who were unsuccessful in helping!
we got the team to investigate and we found the Adblu injector to have a major leak from nozzle crystallisation and it further caused damage to the wiring harness also.
a full comprehensive repair consisted of a new Adblu injector and fitting kit to be installed and the systems orifices being thoroughly cleaned out in the process, followed by the damage to the wiring harness being replaced with a new plug and splice loom to comprehensively guarantee a quality repair!
computer software calibrations carried out and some Adblu crystallisation prevention treatment also introduced seen this lovely jaguar swiftly returned to the owner!

⚡️🔥2010 Ford Fiesta 1 4TDCI🔥⚡️

Our reception was contacted late Monday afternoon by the customer of the Fiesta enquiring about our team being able to assist them with the repair of their car!
After a brief discussion with the reception staff and gaining a understanding of the faults reported by the customer and their details taken, they were advised that the team would return a call to them shortly after they had relayed the details and had discussion with our in-house auto-electitian.
He followed up with speaking directly with the customer further and they had a slot for the next day to get the car brought in by a recovery truck to us.
After the formal introductions of customer and staff a plan for the repair process and the motion was in place..
The vehicle was a "none running and immobilised unit"
We were told apparently that nobody else was interested in helping out with the repair process or even attempting to undertake the job whatsoever.
So they were great full of our team even trying to help out .
A brief previous AA inspection was all that was done so far and it led to a report of a failure with the engine management ECU having internal failure with the processor and was left at that.
Searching around and not getting much luck with it being led to believe that the ECU is a complex component and the only chance to get inspection and possibly a repair done would be a specialist job and a costly and tedious process with no certainty of the module being reparable after money and time was invested in the process of the test of it etc..
The option for a used part from another vehicle was not believed to be possible to be certain enough to persu either because of the coding and immobiliser security systems that are individually registered into each module independently.
A new ford dealership unit was far too expensive and outweighs the cost to simply buy a whole other complete car!

2 days later our team had a test report from the ECU and deemed it unrepairable due to internal water damage,
A used donor unit was sourced and programmed to the car by our auto-electrician and the vehicle was driving once again and was a cost that was affordable for a very happy customer..
And once again the team at MGS have pulled it out of the bag prioritising the customer and doing the seemingly impossible tasks at a turnover not expected to be possible at a cost of fractional size than was expected to be achieved!
And one more car back on the road and saved from the breakers yard for some more happy miles to come!!

2016 Volkswagen Golf R
Came to us after a long time spent with another local auto electrician for electrical issues!
We quickly found and identified some problems with the wiring loom circuit giving sporadic electrical issues out of range and were able to trace and locate the problem to rectify it before it became a major problem and a potential fire risk!
