Good news from the 16th December 2021 everyone with a car licence can now also tow a trailer without taking a separate test 👍but maybe a little bit of training or advice could be a good idea before going out towing for the first time 👍

Dvsa has delayed the new rules for towing heavier caravans and trailers without taking a test, the rules were due to change on the 15th of November and no further date has been announced yet for the relaxation of the rules but will keep you informed 😁

News from dvsa there will be no strike action from examiners as planned 👍also they have suspended plans to increase testing to 8 tests a day for at least the next 12 months, so getting a test isn't great but at least it's not getting worse 🤞

Be sure to keep an eye out for cyclists this Cycle to Work Day, and remember…

🚗You MUST NOT drive or park in a cycle lane marked by a solid white line during its times of operation. Do not drive or park in a cycle lane marked by a broken white line unless it is unavoidable. You MUST NOT park in any cycle lane whilst waiting restrictions apply.

🚲Overtake only when it is safe and legal to do so. Give motorcyclists, cyclists and horse riders at least as much room as you would when overtaking a car

👀It is often difficult to see motorcyclists and cyclists. Always look out for them before you emerge from a junction; they could be approaching faster than you think.
