We have had questions about the new subwoofer line up ,
“These are just pretty renderings and that’s it”
Below is a little show of force , to show the extreme level of engineering and detail found in every area of the our Carte Blanche Pro subwoofers.
GENESIS
CARTE BLANCHE PRO NEO
SQ+ 12-F-XB-N-S4
Symmetrical quad-stack motor (Neo + ferrite)
Ultra-stable drive force with high control. Cleaner transient response, less “motor signature,” more natural tone.
• Steel top plate / back plate / centre structure
Massive, stiff flux path for consistent BL under load. Helps keep dynamics clean at real output, not just at polite levels.
• Copper flux-control rings (heat-shrunk, precision-fitted)
Lowers inductance swing and reduces modulation. Translation: tighter texture, clearer mid-bass detail, less “hash” when it’s working hard.
• Extended pole / centre tube geometry
Keeps the field symmetrical through stroke. Improves linearity and reduces asymmetry distortion—more “effortless” sound.
• High-linearity voice coil + former
Built for control and heat handling. Maintains composure on long notes and fast kick impacts, without compression.
• Cooling + thermal management (motor + coil system)
Better heat shedding = more consistent performance. Same sound after a session as it had on the first track.
• Dual-spider suspension architecture (guided, high stability)
Keeps the coil dead-centred under high excursion. Lower mechanical noise, cleaner bass “shape,” less rocking.
• Spider clamp / landing system (precision alignment)
Locks geometry in place. Improves repeatability and long-term stability—stays “tight” over years, not weeks.
• Surround (high-grade butyl formulation)
Low memory, controlled compliance. Helps the woofer start/stop cleanly and keeps the top end of bass from sounding sloppy.
• Cone system (SQ+ tuning: weight + definition)
Voiced for audiophile texture with real output. You get that “thud” and body, without the ringing or papery overhang.
• Basket / chassis (rigid, resonance-managed)
Structural integrity under load, low parasitic vibration. Keeps energy in the air—not in the frame.
• Terminals / lead-out / wiring
Low-loss, robust connection and fatigue-resistant routing. Reliability plus consistent conductivity under vibration.
