We are an independent family business, based in Portsmouth, which started trading as a motor vehicle repair facility in 1983. Since then we have expanded to include a 24-hour recovery service not only to our own customers, but also to other garages and franchises across the whole of the Portsmouth and Southsea areas
We are fully equipped to handle private cars and light commercial vehicles up to
3.5 tonnes. Many local companies rely on our services and have all their vehicles maintained under a single fleet contract. As part of this service we actually track details of each vehicle and alert the customer when a service is due. We offer MOT's by appointment and many of our customers make use of our free annual reminder service. All our recovery vehicles have become well known for their distinctive bright green livery, with the blue and red stripe and the Owl Motor Services logo. They are equipped to repair on site or recover when necessary all types of cars and light commercial vehicles. We are members of the Association of Vehicle Recovery Operators (AVRO) and have also been awarded the PAS 43 accreditation which is the government standard for the recovery industry. Although we advertise in various forms, our best advertisements are always from personal recommendations by our existing customers, some of which have relied on our services for more than 20 years.
