Our website DTC lookup has had a serious upgrade.

We have now expanded from 91 DTCs to 3,116 DTCs, now including:

✅ P codes
✅ B codes
✅ C codes
✅ U codes

We have also added sub-category searching, so you can now narrow faults down by areas such as:

DPF faults
ABS faults
boost control faults
sensor faults
emissions faults
communication faults
and more

Each result is designed to help give useful information on common faults, symptoms, diagnostic checks and the relevant PSL Performance services that may help resolve the issue.

Whether you are dealing with an engine warning light, ABS fault, boost issue or a communication fault, our DTC lookup tool is built to help point you in the right direction.

PROJECT UPDATE: The Golf 7 R wagon gets a Milltek cat-back upgrade 👌

Our workshop project Golf 7 R Estate has now been treated to a Milltek Sport cat-back exhaust system, finished with satin black trims.

We went with the resonated setup to keep it refined on the road while adding a deeper, sportier tone without making the car annoying to live with. A proper OEM+ upgrade that suits the car perfectly.

This is another step in getting the car where we want it, especially with the Pulsar G25-660 setup in mind. Good supporting hardware makes all the difference when building a well-rounded performance package.

New parts don’t always mean the fault is fixed 👀

This vehicle came in still showing a hard DTC for a high circuit fault, even after new parts had already been fitted.

After removing the plug, the problem became clear… the dreaded terminal corrosion.

The terminals were cleaned, reseated on both connection ends, continuity tested, then everything was refitted. Sensor function returned correctly, the DTC cleared, and the fault was resolved.
A good reminder that proper diagnosis always beats throwing parts at a problem.

Upgraded pod filters are not filters for life 👀

Yes, performance air filters are designed to flow better than standard paper filters, but they still do the same job: stopping dirt, dust and debris from entering your engine.

Over time, they get blocked, contaminated and tired — just like any other serviceable filter.

A dirty filter can affect:
Airflow
Throttle response
Performance
Fuel economy
Engine protection

So if your car has an upgraded intake or pod filter fitted, don’t forget to inspect it, clean it if it’s serviceable, or replace it when it’s past its best.

Performance parts still need maintenance.

So, can you tune a VW Golf Mk7 R on E10 fuel?! 👀

The answer is yes, you absolutely can!

Once we installed the Pulsar G25-660 turbo, the world went a little crazy and fuel prices shot to the moon 🚀⛽ so we decided to ask the question…

Can E10 = performance?

Well, with just 1.6 bar of boost pressure and very conservative ignition timing, we managed:

⚡ Just shy of 420 BHP
⚡ 500 NM torque
⚡ Zero knock
⚡ Zero ignition re**rd

So, should you aim to run your Mk7 R on E10?

Absolutely not 😂

BUT… what this does prove is that making strong, reliable power on E10 is completely possible with the right setup and calibration should you really want that E10 life 👌
