Vehicle: Audi A3 quattro (four-wheel drive)
Customer Complaint:
Customer reports clutch-related fault. Symptoms may include clutch slipping, difficulty engaging gears, abnormal noises during clutch operation, heavy or inconsistent clutch pedal, or warning message related to drivetrain.
Scope of Work:
Carry out full diagnostic inspection of clutch and drivetrain system
Road test vehicle to confirm reported fault
Inspect clutch assembly (clutch disc, pressure plate, release bearing)
Check dual-mass flywheel for wear, heat damage, or excessive play
Inspect clutch hydraulic system (master cylinder, slave cylinder, lines)
Check Haldex/quattro-related components where relevant to drivetrain operation
Scan vehicle for fault codes and perform system adaptation if required
Repair Work (as required):
Remove gearbox and associated quattro drivetrain components
Replace worn or faulty clutch components
Replace dual-mass flywheel if outside manufacturer tolerance
Bleed and test clutch hydraulic system
Reassemble drivetrain and gearbox
Perform clutch calibration/basic settings using diagnostic equipment
Final Checks:
Road test to confirm correct clutch operation
Verify smooth gear engagement and no abnormal noise or vibration
Clear fault codes and recheck system for errors
